POST 7 (week 9) - THEMED POST N° 3 "My Favorite Food"

Hello everybody

On this occasion today I am going to talk about my favorite food. There are many foods that I like but now I live in Santiago too much strange foods based on seafood, my favorites are the ceviche and fried fish, although much more I like the ceviche.

Living in Santiago am little I can eat ceviche in contrast if you were in my house Coquimbo, fortunately one block from my house, opened a new cevicheria this year and yes… the food is good.

Also I have other options as Peruvian gastronomy that abounds here in Independence, their ceviches are very good, but the price goes up depending on the local, so my stay here in Santiago becomes more enjoyable.

In some occasion I ceviche at home, my mother taught me, good is not very difficult, have to filleting, then the fish is cut into craps, after having it cut is placed in a bowl with lemon juice, then we chop onion, cilantro and parsley that add to the bowl of fish, then it is time to review the dressings. Generally it uses black pepper, a little garlic powder and hints of pepper.

I like to use to serve a base of lettuce coupled with slices of avocado, ending with the preparation of “Mayo Casera” to serve the ceviche, but that's another story.

PET Practice

1. My performance in the activities of understanding went very regular, I got a performance of about 50%, so for me this activity was high medium difficulty, certain words that had not mastered its meaning, were fundamental to the understanding of the text (that it was not difficult) therefore much failure.

2. Among the places shown in the top 10, I'd like to visit the Galapagos Islands for being a place of our continent, of a pleasant climate, a rich flora and fauna recognized worldwide. And well I prefer to travel to a place like this to an arid place as pyramids of Giza.

3. I think that knowing English is now essential to greater job opportunities and the ability to travel to other countries and not having communication problems when using the universal language as is the English. I would like more activities with themes about our career or otherwise it about health.

Hello everybody

On this occasion today I going to talk about my pets, throughout my life I have had few pets, I have not had dogs or cats as most of the people.  My first pet, was a couple of canaries, they were called “Niñito” and “Niñita” by my parents…ehhh yes, very original.

In the future I would like to have a ferret, It is a pet that always struck me, when I have my own home, I would have a ferret because in my parents' house the poor ferret could not enter.

Also I have a terrapin called candy, it is very good to eat and loves to walk in the garden but it is very shy. On the other hand I love the singing of my canaries because gives life to the house sometimes I was listening for a long time.

About of the exotic pets I think if the owner has all the necessary precautions and care should not have any problems. It is now true that the exotic animals are subject to an indiscriminate traffic by unscrupulous people that only search your own benefit, hopefully this will change in the future for the good of animals.

Hello everybody, today I’m going to talk about the tennis, my favorite sports.

As a kid I always liked playing sports, but unfortunately did not have skills for football, the favorite sport of my father but there was a discipline that caught my attention and quickly I felt comfortable by practicing it. That sports for my was the tennis.

I like tennis because it is a complete sport it takes a lot of concentration, skill, patience and intelligence to when playing, each point is a separate story, you can be losing a tie break 5-1 and to turn it around if not just ask at Fernando Gonzalez.

My greatest idols are Roger Federer, Nicolàs Massù, Fernando Gonzalez and the great Marcelo “El Chino” Rìos, the best, the first Latin American to reach the top spot in the world rankings, there you stay, Vilas.

The tennis currently not practical, I do not have the time to train frequently and in a good way, although obviously I would like to do in the future, to remember you how much I like this sport

POST 2 (Week 4) >> The best Holidays/Concert ever

On this occasion I bring my favorites holidays, once again I will speak about the travel to “Torres del Paine”, There are also others trips that I could talk but for me this is the best.

As I told you in the previous post, 3 years ago I travel to Torres del Paine, It went a fascinating journey.  The journey was the summer of 2012, with my family and my cousins.

We arrived at dawn to Punta Arenas and the weather was rainy on our arrival, they were two weeks very hectic with many places to visit, In the first place we visited the fort Bulnes that is located at the exit of Punta Arenas, once in the fort, one can see a nice view to Tierra del Fuego. Also we visited by the side of Argentina the village of El Calafate and then the Glacier Perito Moreno, definitely the best place of the trip. We also went to Mount Fitz Roy and Laguna del desierto. 

There are several places to visit as you may have noticed so... What are you waiting for to travel to the end of the world?

POST 1 (Week 3) >> A COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

On this occasion I am going to talk of the XIII Region of Chile. “La Región de Magallanes”

I would like to go back to Punta Arenas and surroundings because I love to your weather, the gastronomy and tourist spots, the last time I went was 3 years ago therefore I hope to return soon. I know part of their culture, for example some legends and locations as the Milodon Cave and the Chair of Diablo. If I had the opportunity to go back there you would on vacation and would visit everything that cannot visit the last time as the other half of the Torres del Paine Park, Land of Fire and Porvenir.

And finally I can tell that I would like to work there, either in a hospital or through my own dental clinic, every day would be happy to work there and I hope that in the near future a reality
